IP Telephony

Since the first of the year and we added this question we have picked up about 8% of the sites interviewed have IP Telephony already installed and CISCO is leading the charge with 35% of the brand mentions. This is most likely why IBM chose them as their partner. Siemens is taking this market very serious and it would seem that 3COM, Nortel and Avaya would be jumping in with both feet as well. It turns out that IP Telephony is being mentioned as interested/planned or on-order in over 15% of the TUDLA interviews, and thus the ramp-up to this evolving market situation is very significant.
