Interesting to note the recent announcement of IBM partnering with CISCO in bringing IP Telephony to the market, 3COM is the penetration leader in switches and second only to CISCO in units share. It is obvious that CISCO is stronger in the large accounts and 3COM in the medium accounts, where IP Telephony appears to be growing the fastest. One would wonder what HP might be up to in this area?
