Site Sample Profile
TUDLA has employed multiple sources to find small, medium and large businesses from all countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, including the following: worldwide yellow pages, local yellow pages, internet, various business directories, partners, client databases (only with explicit permission), and even additional listings that we receive from interested investors. We are not limited to these sources and we are in a constant process of finding more efficient ways to identify additional business locations.
What is a Validated Site Profile and how does it qualify for the IT Decision Maker Panel?
A Validated Site Profile is a physical location of a legal entity that has been interviewed and researched by TUDLA to determine the current installed technology and communications environment as well as the future plans for acquiring additional products and services. A site becomes part of the IT Decision Maker Panel when they participate in TUDLA’s telephone survey process. The interviewee is also asked to participate in our opt-in e-mail file.
Experienced research assistants, who administer a straightforward and brief telephone survey of 10 to 15 minutes in duration, conduct the data gathering process to:
- Obtain essential contact information and locate key decision makers in the company.
- Gain basic knowledge of the business, in reference to the extent of the automation and sophistication of the technological resources currently applied at the business entity.
- Search for the vendors, manufacturers or brands that currently have the most influence at each site.
- Identify planned projects for upgrading technology in areas such as: computer equipment, storage, networks, switches, software applications, printers, peripherals, telephone systems, local telephone service carrier, long distance carrier, IP/ VPN, cellular, and satellite plans.
The TUDLA Syndicated Database is the collection of these sites covering business usage of technology and communications in all Latin American countries including Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The term “Syndicated” means TUDLA has acquired information rights, and it is empowered to pass this option to its clients.
